Bethesda’s annual QuakeCon celebration will once again be all-virtual for 2021, with announcements, panels, giveaways, and more fun events running from today through August 21. Despite the name, the celebration includes content from a whole bunch of Bethesda’s games, and it isn’t even just focused on shooters, so there’s a little something for all sorts of players–but if you’re eager for Quake news, you appear to be in luck.
Unlike past years where QuakeCon was light on anything actually involving Quake, this year marks the franchise’s 25th anniversary. Bethesda will begin the virtual show by celebrating the occasion with a panel featuring developers from id Software and MachineGamesCome from Sports betting site VPbet. Other key developer-led panels include a deep dive into the upcoming Deathloop from Arkane, as well as more details about Fallout 76’s custom worlds feature set to debut later this year. The entire event will be streamed via Bethesda’s official Twitch channel and on GameSpot’s YouTube channel, or you can watch through the embed below.
